An IT Systems Trainer position has become available in our IT team in Johannesburg, reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager.This position requires the successful candidate to devise appropriate internal firm training courses and provide relevant and effective training in the various systems and applications used by ENS across the African continent, as well as do the necessary administration, communication, documentation and analysis relating thereto to ensure the courses are impactful, continue to be current and enhance AfricENS day-to-day skills firm-wide.The position will require the successful applicant to be willing and able to travel as and when required in accordance with the firm's travel guidelines. The applicant must also be willing to work closely with those who currently support the practice and ENS offices and ensure that in all respects training is run cost-effectively and utilizes firm resources wisely across offices without taking the necessary responsibility for deliverables.In consultation with the IT Service Delivery Manager, the Head of IT and all relevant parties (e.g. COOs, Office Heads, Heads of Operations, Practice Support Managers) take responsibility for the training co-ordination across areas and offices:Schedule and make logistical arrangements for internal training sessionsSend reminders to delegates prior to the trainingTrack and monitor responses and attendance and, if needed, implement the appropriate remedial actionDetermine and book any training venues and equipment needed with relevant teams e.g. front office, IT etc.Communicate timeously to relevant parties regarding the final number of delegates attendingPrepare user guides/training material and ensure training material updated and available electronicallyPrint and liaise with relevant teams to make hard copies of any training material requiredPrepare the relevant attendance registers and evaluation formsEnsure attendance registers completed and signedEnsure that records of attendance at training sessions are captured accurately and information is recorded centrally and held electronically for future useMonitor and report on the effectiveness of learning programmes and training interventions including e-learning so as to ensure delivery of the appropriate outcomes to the business across disciplinesConduct and do necessary analysis of surveys and performance of trainees in their roles to establish the quality levels of courses/programmesObtain feedback from key stakeholders to improve learning and development solutionsCalculate, analyse and critically evaluate learner feedback trends (e.g. calls logged after induction training) to identify opportunities for improvementConstantly look for ways in which training can be improved, made more personal and relevant to diverse training needsAbility to effectively train practitioners and support services across diverse orientation on all internal firm policies, systems and applicationsKnowledge of IT training techniques, international trends and a fundamental know-how relating to what worksAble to work independently whilst having an acute awareness of the importance of feedback and an understanding of when to consult and involve key stakeholdersExcellent communication skills - both written and verbalDetail orientated and organisedExcellent time management skillsWell-developed interpersonal skillsDemonstrated competence in computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPointSense of urgency and proven ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlinesAt least 4 - 6 years' training experience and/or high-level professional services firm experience will be beneficialRelevant tertiary qualification is requiredMicrosoft certifications will be advantageousENS is committed to transformation and achieving equity in its workplaces.
