Infrastructure Planning and DevelopmentSkills:- Leadership skills- Communication skills- Problem solving skills- Ability to work under pressureAttributes:- Hardworking- Ethical- Quality driven- Adaptability- Good communication- InnovationDuties And Accountabilities:Leadership and Management:- Lead and manage the IT department, providing guidance and technical support to team members- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with business goals- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environmentCargoWise Support:- Serve as the primary point of contact for all CargoWise-related issues and enhancements- Manage the implementation, support, and optimization of CargoWise systems- Ensure best practices and compliance with industry standards for CargoWise usageInfrastructure Management:- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems- Ensure high availability and reliability of IT services and systemsApplications Support:- Manage the application support team, ensuring timely resolution of issues and user support- Put usage controls in place to avoid systems and cost abuse- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and implement application improvementsCargoWise Systems Integrations:- Oversee Integration Projects: Plan and execute system integration projects to ensure seamless interoperability between different software applications, hardware systems, and IT infrastructures- Develop Integration and Test Strategies: Create and implement strategies, architectures, and platforms to facilitate efficient and secure data exchange and workflow across systems- Coordinate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, software development vendor, and business units, to gather integration requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications- Training and Documentation: Facilitate training sessions and create documentation for IT staff and end-users to ensure they understand the integration processes and can troubleshoot common issues- Provide associated documentation, according to internal processReport / Budgeting:- Report Incident and System Information to Senior Management- Annual Budgeting for the I.T.
