Our client in the Fintech industry, with offices in Paarl, is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer with over 4 years of IT support experience to manage and maintain their SaaS applications, cloud production environments, and Google Workspace.
Key responsibilities include managing cybersecurity posture, DNS records, IT policies, and compliance with ISO27001 and POPIA/GDPR.
The role also involves providing first-line support, troubleshooting, desktop support (Windows & MacOS), and acting as Information Security Officer.
Relevant IT certifications are required, with a Google Workspace certification being a plus.
Responsibilities Manage and maintain the suite of SaaS applications and integrationsManage and maintain the email and productivity suite (Google Workspace / G Suite)Provide first line support for the cloud production environmentsManage Cyber Security posture including implementing improvementsManage DNS records including MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARCTroubleshooting issues with the systems and networksMaintaining accurate configuration documentationPerform duties as the Information Security OfficerMaintain IT policies and procedures in the ISMSProvide security expertise/consultation when requiredMaintain the IT environment to industry regulations such as ISO27001, POPIA/GDPRAssist in the implementation of changes to strengthen processes, procedures and complianceAssist teams with planning and adoption of new tools and servicesHandle SFTP server setup and issuesGeneral IT Admin incl.
