It Support Specialist

Our state-of-the-art automotive manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team on a 24-month contract basis. This role is critical in maintaining our technological infrastructure and supporting our employees' IT needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
• Manage and maintain IT systems, including servers, workstations, and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems efficiently
• Assist in implementing new technologies and systems
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols
• Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed

Requirements:
• National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in IT support, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office suite, and networking technologies
• Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Advantageous:
• ITIL certification
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly those used in manufacturing
• Knowledge of automotive industry-specific software
