The IT Specialist will take full accountability for theIT department of MAC Consulting, ensuring that all employees have thetechnology they need to get their job done, from a reliable laptop and VPN cloud/remote access for remote workers who can't be reached otherwise, toup-close coordination with other departments like HR or Finance toensure data is secure.

KeyResponsibilities: Manage information technology and computer systems, such as file servers and network.  Select and purchase new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary. Test,troubleshoot, and modify information systems so that they operateeffectively. Plan,organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations. Design,develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures. E nsuresecurity of data, network access and backup systems. Actin alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute toorganizational policy. Identifyproblematic areas and implement strategic solutions timeously. Auditsystems and assess their outcomes. Preserveassets, information security and control structures. Workclosely with the Finance Executive to review and update the annual budget andensure cost-effectiveness, including, keeping asset registers up to date.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
A+ and N+, MCDST, MCSE, MCP certifications beneficial. Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and services. Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation. Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, network maintenance, and IT security. Proficient in Microsoft Windows OS software, including file server, office, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Exchange. Creating, managing and implementing MS Teams and SharePoint Online Directories. Apple OS and IOS knowledge beneficial. Experience as an end-user support. Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Highly organized and detail oriented. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Passion for cutting edge technology and its use in security. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
