As a IT Service Technician your role will be to provide support to senior technicians with regards to effectively managing various hardware and software systems. You will be required to assist the contact centre with troubleshooting to ensure systems are running effectively.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES. RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE Take Support Calls Desktop Support Network and Troubleshooting Testing Applications Remote Desktop Support Assisting in Call out as well as Installations Hardware and Software Management Printer setup, phone setup, etc Valid Drivers Assets Register of all IT equipment Documentation of equipment sign in and sign out Protocol signature for all equipment signed out Testing of all equipment upon return to office Set up of physical equipment Cabling and IT structure keeping office neat and tidy with cables Ensuring that PC's or any hardware the agents use is working correctly Monitoring off the ISP/SIP/CRM to ensure that everything is running smoothly Reporting weekly of all IT issues, issues resolved. Daily check of employee IT issues in Tech group Any other related IT office adhoc duties that may be requestedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- Minimum 2 years' relevant experience. Able to use MS office package, Able to multitask Previous experience in IT An excellent team player. Able to work under pressure. Well organized, efficient, and effective. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent problemsolving abilities.Needs to be able to: Rebuild a PC Basic Chrome troubleshooting skills Networking troubleshooting skills Know how to manage networks/Backups Able to follow set tasks set for for him/her Knowledge on VoIP and any CRM(As long as he knows what a CRM is) Cable management and asset managementEDUCATION: IT related diploma/degree Office 365 admin certification
