SummaryThe Infrastructure Readiness Planner is an IT professional that reports to the Infrastructure Readiness Manager in Deployment Assurance within the Office of the Deputy Chief Information Officer for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO), within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA).DutiesPlanning and scheduling of work tasks and personnel; gathering and analyzing information to prepare reports on the progress of projects.Ensuring desired results by determining and implementing objectives, and allocating appropriate resources interfaces with the client sponsor.Provide consistent risk updates for scheduling activities and an analysis of why timelines are not being met.Consult with customers to evaluate functional requirements.Define project scope and objectives based on customer requirements.Manage the information technology (IT) planning process to ensure that development solutions meet customer requirements.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMCompressed/Flexible: AvailableTelework: Yes, VA supports the use of telework as a way to help attract and retain talented individuals in public service, increase worker productivity, and better prepare the agency to operate during emergencies. Some physical effort is required to lift and carry reference books, working papers, and similar items to and from meetings. A moderate amount of standing and walking is required in getting to and from meeting places away from the work site.
