It Operations Engineer

IT Operations Engineer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12)
2 years IT-related working experience
Verbal and written fluency in both English and German
Information technology qualification (advantageous but not a pre-requisite)

Responsibilities:

Provide IT support for all Company Plants
Receive telephone calls regarding IT issues related to production
Pre-qualify IT incidents and classify additional relationships
Fix incidents in IT systems in accordance with user manuals
Monitor IT system error messages and process accordingly
Provide guidance throughout the incident management processes
Initiate the IT escalation process when required
Process email requests
Serve as an information channel for management and end users
Work shifts as part of a team providing 24x7x365 support
Deliver operations support services
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
