Minimum Requirements: National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent certification. A+, N+, and Microsoft Certification. 5-10 years of IT Management experience. Minimum of 8 years working experience in the following areas: Computer hardware and software systems and programs. Computer networks, including network administration and installation. Computer troubleshooting. Computer viruses and security protocols. E-mail and internet programs. Microsoft Windows and Server Operating Systems. Managing a domain using Active Directory and Terminal Services. Database structure management, data access, and extraction. Sage 300 (Accpac) and Sage CRM, including front-end and back-end management. IIS and Web Services. SSRS Report Writing. WMS (Warehouse Management System) Integration. API Integration. Java or Angular JS, with basic debugging skills. Strong management and supervisory skills. Proficiency in installing and administering computer hardware, software, and networks. Team-building capabilities. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective decision-making abilities. Strong verbal, presentation, and listening communication skills. Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate information systems and electronic data processing (EDP) operations. Oversee the telecommunications systems of the company. Develop and implement policies and procedures for data processing, computer systems, and operations. Meet with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. Hire and manage IT personnel and contractors for systems design, development, and administration. Manage budgets and expenditures for computer systems. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network communication systems. Stay current on company hardware and software updates and functionality. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company network and communication systems. Provide orientation and training to new users on technology systems. Offer individual training and support as needed. Recommend improvements for information and communication technologies. Maintain an accurate inventory of technology hardware, software, and resources. Assess and manage all technical issues. Oversee firewall management. Keep a log of repairs and maintenance needs. Make sourcing and purchasing recommendations for new technology resources. Manage network access for all staff. Manage workstations, hardware installations, and updates. Oversee essential company software functionality. Provide network access and user account management. Maintain technology security protocols. Enforce a complex password system. Manage IP addressing for systems. Ensure backup solutions are properly configured and current. Maintain and manage backup solutions to prevent data loss. Implement and maintain disaster management plans and procedures. Test backup integrity and disaster management plans quarterly for data integrity. Recommend new backup technology resources as needed. Manage data access for all staff. Support and manage CRM and ERP systems, specifically Sage 300 (Accpac) and Sage CRM. Coordinate communication between developers, project managers, and end users. Provide first-line support and training to end users. Escalate and follow up on issues requiring developer intervention. Ensure live, development, and test environments are functional and accessible. Conduct regular backups, particularly before major updates or changes. Perform additional duties as required.
