Job summary Assistant to the Estate Manager & the IT Systems Administrator.
Qualifications and Experience No formal Qualification needed2 years of IT Assistant or intern experience with a IT Systems Admin beneficial2 years of manager or project and admin experience beneficialBehavioural Aspects Required Ability to work well with othersExcellent problem-solving skillsRespond and work well under pressureAbility to complete tasks timeously and work until the task is completeShow initiative and ability to self-motivate and work alone frequentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience managing multiple facets of an installation requiring manual labour and be capable of multitaskingDesired Skills Experience in managing projectsSourcing quotes, collating and presenting info regarding projectsManagement of projects (building, maintenance or IT related)Able to work with basic power toolsMicrosoft Windows, Office, including debugging, and crash experienceServer 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 experience and understandingActive Directory experience and debugging experienceLinux, UNIX, Codebases and ability to read code.RAID hardware and softwareServer Hardware maintenance and understanding of fundamentals of Server usageNetworking and infrastructure debugging experienceIP Camera Experience, including installation and usage. Knowledge of Blue Iris systemsAbility to handle basic Aircon Maintenance, and basic Technical Maintenance of various IT systemsUnifi, Dell, HP procurve, Cisco, and experience with using all of them in one networkBasic Electrical knowledge is important as well as safety knowledge when working with IT SystemsOwn transport is essential.
