Description
Take full responsibility for all academic aspects of modules allocated, and contribute significantly to the teaching, learning and assessment of these modules.
Prepare course content/notes and teaching and learning material for all allocated modules.
Set and mark tests, assignments, projects and examinations, and timeously provide marks to the Registrar/Personal Programme Administrator/s for processing.
Actively explore new and more effective methods of learning, teaching and assessing.
Ensure that the programme modules are aligned to industry and legislative requirements.
Participate with the Faculty Heads and relevant lecturers, in programme related academic activities.
Support the Personal Programme Administrator/s and Registrar in providing advice, guidance and counselling to students, where necessary.
Encourage and motivate students to utilize the Campus Library regularly, and promote and inspire students to further their reading and research ability.
Lecture to part-time students, if requested by the Faculty Head.
Strive to establish a productive working partnership with industry players, advertising agencies and institutions both locally and globally.
Assist in the development of relevant (short) courses for the industry and contribute to second stream income generation at Richfield.
Perform all administrative functions pertaining to the modules allocated.
Demonstrate aptitude for on-going research and a willingness to participate in the development of knowledge, which will benefit students and the broader community.
Be a team player with excellent leadership, management and communication skills, together with a keenness to engage fully in the development of Richfield.
Assume any other relevant responsibilities that may be assigned by the Faculty Head and/or Chief Executive Office Richfield, inter-alia, SAQA/DHET etc.
Be supportive of Richfield's strategic vision of future thinking, innovation and creativity.
Be at the cutting edge of developments in the digital age.
Be sensitive to responsibility and sustainability, and be part of ongoing debates concerning the cultural and ethical implications of creative brand, marketing and communication practices.
The Candidate must have a strong background in Emerging Technology, networking, and AI.
