It Desktop Support Technician

My client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician to join their company. Responsible for IT Desktop Support tasks and coordinating service orientated processes.Duties include:Track and co-ordinate all IT service requestsFollow-up and track incidents and control to ensure that incidents are resolved timeouslyGeneral IT administrationBasic Project administrationPC maintenancePC updates and upkeepSoftware installationMS Office productsNetwork, hardware & software monitoring and support for both local and remote sitesDesktop support on the company's internal IT systemsMinimum Requirements:Minimum Matric certificate and at least A+ and N+ qualifications10+ Years' experience in a similar positionExperience in a Service orientated environmentIT administration and Desktop Support experienceActive Directory experiencePhysical ability to do manual labour (install network cables, computers, printers, etc.)Ability to interact and communicate on all levelsA positive attitude always striving to be the bestAbility to prioritize and good time managementDesired Skills:Information Technology (IT)InstallationIT System AdministrationNetworksSeniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionInformation TechnologyIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting
