IT Business Analyst required for a Contract role in Randburg that will manage the configuration and maintenance of Murex product modules, define and refine business processes, and assess the impact of changes on systems and operations.
The role involves optimizing credit processes, ensuring alignment with business architecture, and overseeing testing to meet requirements.
This position also provides expert guidance and maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices.
Responsibilities: Requirement Definition: Define and manage requirements for Murex product modules, including Limits Controller and Basel II Credit Capital Calculator.Business Process Development: Build and maintain business processes for Credit, aligning with current and future business needs and ensuring effective system implementations.Impact Assessment: Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on both business processes and IT systems, including upstream and downstream effects.Process Optimization: Analyze and redesign credit processes to improve efficiency and obtain stakeholder buy-in, documenting end-to-end process flows.Functional Specifications: Define report requirements and process specifications for business and IT changes, ensuring alignment with business architecture standards.Testing Oversight: Oversee functional, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements and specifications.Expert Guidance: Provide expert advice, maintain a Credit business information model, and stay updated on changes in business and credit management practices. Requirements: Relevant degree or QualificationExcellent excel skills are required for creating and maintain test packs and test scenarios.2 - 5 years demonstrated practical experience in major projects / areas with relevant exposure to the credit business.Strong background in implementation of build and buy business solutions.Ability to have a technical discussionExperience in the investment banking sector
