Overview:A Technical Business Analyst is required to manage the configuration, integration, and continuous improvement of Credit product modules.
The role involves gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications, assessing the impact of changes on IT systems, and ensuring optimal performance of credit processes.
This includes working closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals, overseeing system testing, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of credit industry standards and technologies.Key Responsibilities:Technical Requirements Management: Define, document, and manage technical and functional requirements for Credit product modules, including tools like Murex, Limits Controller, and Basel II Credit Capital Calculator.Systems Integration & Configuration: Work closely with IT teams to configure, maintain, and enhance credit system modules, ensuring seamless integration with other financial systems and compliance with regulatory frameworks.Impact Analysis: Conduct thorough impact assessments of changes across credit and IT systems, ensuring awareness of upstream and downstream effects on processes, operations, and reporting.Business Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize end-to-end credit processes, identifying automation and efficiency opportunities while ensuring alignment with business architecture and IT frameworks.Technical Documentation & Functional Specs: Develop comprehensive technical documentation and functional specifications for both business and IT changes, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and strategic objectives.Testing & Validation: Lead and coordinate testing efforts, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that technical solutions meet business requirements and industry best practices.Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that the proposed solutions address both business objectives and technical feasibility.Expert Guidance: Provide thought leadership on credit technology trends, maintain a business information model for the Credit department, and offer expert advice on process improvements and systems enhancements.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Advanced Excel skills, including experience in managing test packs, developing test scenarios, and conducting data analysis.2 - 5 years of relevant experience in major credit-related projects, with a focus on IT systems integration and optimization.Proven experience with build and buy technology solutions in the banking or financial services industry.Ability to engage in detailed technical discussions with both IT and business teams.Exposure to credit systems within investment banking or similar financial sectors.
