The Global Equity Investment Specialist will act as a crucial connector between the Global Equity Investment Team and the Distribution Team. This role requires a deep understanding of our clients global equity fund's processes, philosophy, and positioning, coupled with the ability to confidently communicate these aspects to clients and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will excel in fund analysis, presentation creation, commentary writing, and newsletter development.
Main duties and responsibilities Client Communication Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients regarding the global equityfund, articulating its process, philosophy, and positioning with confidence. Address client inquiries and provide detailed, insightful responses that align withthe fund's strategy and performance. Fund Analysis Conduct thorough analyses of global equity funds, including performancemetrics, risk assessments, and market trends. Translate analytical findings into actionable insights for both internal teams andexternal clients. Presentation and Documentation: Assist in building compelling presentations for client meetings, investment reviews, and internal briefings. Write and review factsheet commentary that accurately reflects the fund's performance and strategy. Newsletter Development: Create and curate content for a regular newsletter, highlighting keydevelopments, insights, and updates from the Global Equity Investment Team. Ensure the newsletter is engaging, informative, and aligned with the company's communication standards Process and Philosophy Understanding: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the global equity fund's investmentprocess, philosophy, and positioning. Collaborate with both the Global Equity Investment Team and Distribution Teamto ensure cohesive and accurate messaging. Ideal qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are advantageous. Ideal experience: 2-5 years of experience in investment analysis, client communication, or a related role within the financial services industry. Experienced and knowledgeable in global investment products Proven ability to analyse financial data and present findings clearly and concisely. Competencies and desired attributes: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and familiarity with financial analysis tools.
