Role Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior team members to provide analysis, support, and portfolio analytics services. Monitor and assess incumbent and current managers, analysing exposures and risks. Ensure accurate and timely execution of Portfolio Managers' instructions and update portfolios on relevant systems. Support various teams involved in portfolio management and research. Generate, interpret, and analyse analyses for portfolio management and client presentations. Retrieve, validate, reconcile, and analyse data for reporting purposes. Develop an understanding of market dynamics, portfolio construction, and investment managers. Generate client and internal reports, review reports from other analysts, and present findings. Contribute to process improvement, automation, and ad hoc analyses. Relevant Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor's degree, such as BCom, B.Bus.Sci, BSc, or equivalent is essential. 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in investments. Understanding of macroeconomics and familiarity with portfolio construction and manager research. Strong attention to detail and understanding of key risk, performance, and attribution concepts. Safeguards integrity of sensitive client data and deals with large quantities of portfolio and market data. Knowledge of portfolio and instrument level information. Quick learner with a strong passion for investments and excellent analytical skills. Good time management, ability to meet deadlines, and work under pressure. Clear and polite communication, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team. Proactive, takes initiative, and possesses problem-solving skills. Willingness to work long hours when necessary and exhibit problem-solving and solutions-focused mindset. Flexible and adaptable to deliver high-quality outputs and maintain standards. Self-driven, determined, and motivated with a professional and positive attitude. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
