Hello future Investment Operations Specialist,
Ashburton Investments is a new generation investment manager that offers investors access to more sources of return and more ways to manage risk. We pride ourselves on offering solutions to address clients' holistic needs through operational excellence.
In this role you will be required to perform fund administration responsibilities for all clients, add value to the team by sharing technical expertise in fund accounting, collaborate as one unit within Investment Operations, and provide best-of-breed service to all clients, internal and external.
Are you someone who can:
Cultivate and manage working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including portfolio managers, the external administrator, internal and external audit, and staff members.
Diligently complete daily oversight tasks.
Timeously resolve internal and external queries.
Participate in ad hoc projects as required.
Adhere to policies and procedures.
Continually look for ways to enhance efficiencies.
Maintain a positive attitude and respond openly to feedback.
Take ownership of personal career development leveraging formal and informal opportunities.
Act in an ethical, transparent, and morally defensible manner including highlighting unethical practices.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
Have completed an undergraduate degree in a business-related discipline.
Have 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar environment.
Have an understanding of fund accounting.
Proven track record of process improvements and problem solving.
