Investment Operations Graduate

They are currently seeking a highly motivated and proactive Investment Operations Graduate to join their operations team based in Cape Town. This role offers the opportunity to work within a high-performance culture that values continual performance improvement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.What you'll do:Daily review and maintenance of trade data in relevant systemsIdentify and resolve breaks timely and accuratelyResponsible for all LMA Par/Distressed Settlements and Bond SettlementsManagement of the trade lifecycle for loans and bondsWork closely with Fund Accountants to prioritise trade settlementsReport on any aged, unsettled trades, unallocated trades, and short positionsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and vendorsElect and process Amendments and Corporate ActionsWhat you bring:Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Computing or a Quantitative fieldKnowledge of Loan Market Association (LMA), Loan Syndication and Trading Association (LSTA) Par and Distressed DocumentationExperience around Bond settlements and processingFamiliarity with WSO (Wall Street Office) and Clear Par or relevant knowledgeStrong Corporate Action election and processing experienceAbility to establish strong relationships both internally and externallyChange mindset with a focus on continuous improvementExceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsWhat sets this company apart:Our client is a leading global alternative investment manager with a robust network of 25 local offices worldwide.
