This is an incredible opportunity for a CA (SA) with 4 – 6 years PQE to join a strong team of professionals in Cape Town, providing venture debt and loans to innovative and growing SMEs.This is a Cape Town based role serving international clients - mainly UK, EU and US presence.You will have deep financial analysis expertise and pride yourself on creating thorough, balanced investment papers. Exposure to SMEs and high-growth companies in corporate and commercial finance is also vital.Hybrid and flexible working arrangements! Responsibilities:Collaborate with the sales team to take deals through to credit.Conduct financial due diligence.Collaborate with deal originators to identify solid investment opportunities and make improvements to maintain the integrity of their investment process.Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed and impactful credit papersManage multiple deals across a wide range of industries and in different geographical markets.Catalyse and manage internal and external stakeholder management. Requirements:CA(SA) with 4-6 years of post-article experience.Strong experience in Financial Analysis as well as writing and reviewing credit papers.Transaction, Investment or Deal-Making experience.Exposure to SMEs and high-growth companies in corporate and commercial finance is vital. The closing date for this position: 25th October 2024.
