Investment Analyst

An opportunity exists for an Investment Analyst to join a dynamic team. The role involves supporting Investment Associates in transaction execution by conducting financial analyses, market research, and due diligence, while contributing to business development initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Business Development:Support business development initiatives and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.Develop networks within the financial and BEE market.Actively participate in deal forums and contribute to business development strategies.Transaction Execution:Conduct financial analysis, market research, and valuations using industry best practices.Assist in due diligence exercises and provide input on deal structuring and risk mitigation.Mobilise and coordinate internal and external resources for deal appraisal.Provide commentary on financial and legal structures for sustainable investments.Experience & Skills Required:Generalist knowledge in corporate finance with exposure to private equity.Strong analytical skills with 25 years of financial analysis experience.Ability to evaluate risks, identify opportunities, and recommend solutions.Qualifications:Newly qualified CA(SA) or BCom graduate.Key Competencies:Cognitive: Analytical thinking, attention to detail, focus, and decision-making skills.Intrapersonal: Resilience, ethical judgement, time management, and results-driven.Interpersonal: Relationship-building, teamwork, and customer service orientation.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conflict management.Functional: Financial and commercial acumen, organisational awareness, and research competency.Salary: R Job Reference #: 1148002
