Investment Analyst

Key Responsibilities:Assist in researching, analyzing, and recommending investment opportunities.Support portfolio monitoring and reporting.Develop and interpret financial models, including advanced macros.Conduct financial analysis and provide insights into performance variances.Identify and support deal origination, assisting in key decision-making.Input and analyze potential financing structures to guide strategic decisions.Qualifications and Experience:Honours Degree in finance or a related field.2+ years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking (M&A, Corporate Finance, or Project Finance), management consulting, or a Big 4 auditing firm.Proficient in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.Strong financial acumen with the ability to identify inconsistencies in data.Ability to apply strategic, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Skills Required:Strong financial modeling skills.Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage projects effectively.Commercial orientation with a keen attention to detail.Team-oriented with strong collaboration abilities.Highly analytical, with a focus on delivering actionable insights.This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong financial background looking to make a meaningful impact in the investment sector.For more information, contact: Crushen Clive PietersenSpecialist Recruiter: Actuarial & Analytics
