Investment Analyst

This is a remote position.
Position overview: Our client is looking for a strong candidate to join their team as an Investment Analyst / Manager in South Africa who will manage projects for the purposes of investment portfolio development.
What you will do: Explore industry trends and discover exciting investment opportunities.
Dive into in-depth analyses of investment cases to identify potential.
Create financial models to assess the value of promising projects and companies.
Collaborate on structuring investment projects and negotiating favourable terms.
Develop engaging presentations, memoranda, and supporting materials.
Facilitate due diligence efforts with the help of expert consultants.
Ensure the preparation of clear, legally binding documentation that reflects agreed terms.
Craft concise and insightful reports to keep everyone informed.
Build and nurture trusting relationships with partners, consultants, and stakeholders.
Support planning efforts and actively participate in events.
What you need: Ideally hold a BCom Degree in Finance or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
CFA, ACCA, or CPA certifications are welcome.
3 - 6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or Big3/Big4.
Strong knowledge of corporate finance and extensive experience in financial modelling (DCF).
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills with a knack for solving complex problems.
Developed communication skills with a results-oriented focus.
Ability to multitask independently.
