In this capacity, you'll manage inventory and oversee daily warehouse operations, playing a key role in ensuring process adherence, spearheading digital transformation, and promoting ongoing enhancement. Your efforts will be vital in maintaining the seamless and effective warehouse operations that Maersk is celebrated for.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform early morning cycle counts and ensure timely completion.Manage the consolidation, receiving, and processing of inventory.Ensure accurate inventory transactions and maintain proper document control.Support and drive the implementation of the WMS systems across all the customer sites.Assist the Warehouse Manager in meeting departmental KPIs.Document and support the implementation of business processes.Identify areas for continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, safety, and compliance.Evaluate the use of tools to maximize return on investment.Develop reporting tools and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide visibility into business trends.Respond to customer/onsite requests.Provide training on systems and processes.Manage, communicate, and resolve operational, process, and system issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.Develop and execute project plans that involve multiple departments.Establish measurable goals and objectives for projects and initiatives.Track progress and provide updates throughout projects and initiatives.Who we are looking forMinimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or stock control.Strong understanding of Warehouse Management System (WMS) software and related logistics applications.Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with strong coaching and mentoring skills.Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve inventory and operational processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A commitment to delivering high-quality service, with the ability to manage customer expectations and resolve issues effectively.Proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges, with a focus on continuous improvement.Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Last Application Date - 4 September 2024
