The ideal candidate must be an experienced and passionate individual who pays attention to detail.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPosition: Inventory ManagerLocation: New Germany, KZNReports To: Operations ManagerMinimum QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, or any other relevant qualification3-5 years of experience in a similar position3-5 years Warehouse experienceKnowledge within the Building Hardware or Retail sector would be advantageousKnowledge of IQ Retail System would be advantageousRoles and ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate staff on daily operationsRun daily cycle counts and investigate variances in line with the company's objectivesEnsure stock is stored according to the correct bin locations at all timesEnsure stock is labelled correctlyOversee stock received by suppliers, including receiving, verifying, and storage of goodsEnsure accurate and timely receipt, storage, and picking of inventory levelsPlan and execute quarterly stock takes to ensure accuracy at all timesEnsure the right documentation is endorsed for any discrepanciesManage all transfers between companies correctly - physical and system stock transfersConduct on-site customer auditsContinuous improvement; enhancing internal procedures and controlsIdentify discounted stock and implement waste control mechanismsEnsure proper housekeeping is maintainedManage LIFO/FIFO systemRespond to and resolve stock queries from managementInvolvement in all new rolloutsEnsure stock availability to meet customer requirementsReport all stock discrepancies to managementMaintain accurate records of inventory levelsManage, motivate, train, and continually develop the inventory teamOptimize layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization and efficiencyPackage & RemunerationR 20 000 - R 25 000 - Monthly
