Inventory Controller - Health/Medical/ Pharmaceutical Industry - Pretoria

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitate the connection between the sales team, customer consignment location and warehouse.Manage inventory levels in line with the consignment locations sales requirements, taking into consideration all open and pending transactions in the companys ERP system.Pro-actively engage with sales managers and business unit heads to understand divisional requirements, growth aspirations and market conditions in line with inventory requirements.Co-ordinate and administer stock transfers between customer locations, sales teams, and warehouse locations to obtain optimal regional inventory levels to support area sales.Support the sales team with the management of short-dated and expired stock.Accurate and timeous capturing of stock returns from consignment locations in SAP.Effective reporting and analysis of consignment stock-on-hand, versus reconciled inventory counts (monthly).Support the sales team with the management of short*dated and expired stock.Document monthly consignment count results, including reason codes for missedcounts. JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO SATISFY THE JOB DESCRIPTION: Key Competencies and Skills: Understanding of inventory management principles and reporting.Fully computer literate, aptitude for technology and system driven.Excellent communicator (written and verbal) on all levels.Analytical, accountable & assertive.Time management and problem-solving skills.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Strong teamwork spirit, hard-working and self-motivated.Good communicator and organizer.Microsoft Excel proficient.Excellent time management and attention to detail. Minimum Qualification Minimum: Matric.National Diploma or a Bachelors Degree will be advantageous Minimum Work Experience Required Minimum: 3 5 years Inventory Management / Procurement experience.SAP experience will be advantageous.Good communicator and organizer.Excellent time management and attention to detailProven experience in the medical industry.
