Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Clerk to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring efficient inventory operations.
The Inventory Clerk will work closely with various departments to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.
  Key Responsibilities:   Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, deliveries, withdrawals, and transfers.
Monitor stock levels and conduct regular physical inventory counts.
Update inventory records in the inventory management system.
  Stock Control: Ensure that stock levels are maintained within established guidelines.
Report any discrepancies, shortages, or overstock situations to the Inventory Manager.
Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
  Receiving and Dispatch: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
Inspect goods for damage and ensure that quantities received match the order specifications.
Coordinate the receiving and dispatching of goods with relevant departments.
  Data Entry and Documentation: Accurately enter inventory data into the inventory management system.
Maintain organized and up-to-date inventory records, including receipts, invoices, and other documentation.
Prepare and distribute inventory reports as required.
  Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless inventory operations.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding inventory matters.
  Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
Adhere to health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of inventory items.
  Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields are a plus.
Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  Working Conditions: This position may require standing, walking, and lifting items throughout the workday.
Occasional overtime or weekend work may be necessary during peak inventory periods.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields are a plus.
Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
