How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The National Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, leading, organising and controlling hard goods, production spare parts, capital spare parts and consumable items at Air Liquide sites nationally. He/She will implement accurate reporting and control systems and continuously identify inventory management improvement opportunities.He/She will ensure the implementation of inventory policies and procedures to ensure adherence to procurement standards.General:Support Treasury Manager with working capital management initiativesSupport ERP system implementationBuild internal networks and relationships to support an effective shared service centre mindsetDevelop effective working relationships with all members of the Finance Shared Service CentreSupport business owners and category managers in developing inventory management strategiesInventory Management:Oversee and participate in the development of inventory and stores management policies and proceduresEnsure that optimal and essential inventory levels are maintained in order to meet business needsEnsure inventory items are procured, received, stored and issued efficiently and effectivelyCoordinate periodic audits of inventory and storesImplement and monitor inventory quality and quantity control systemsManage the consolidation of inventory reporting and ensure the adjustment/update of inventory levels and information on systemIdentify and report possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savingsResponsible for stock takingManage obsolescenceBusiness Intelligence:Analyse past and future demand volumes, inventory trends and levels to inform demand plan and decision makingConsolidate and analyse inventory data to track consumption and identify variances and inefficienciesQuality Assurance and Advisory:Perform a periodic audit on inventory to ensure reporting is accurateInvestigate certain issues revealed in inventory intelligenceProvide stores business owners with advisory services with regards to disposal of redundant or expired inventory, replenishment lead times, optimal levels of inventory, etc.Reporting:Compile and submit relevant reports on inventory levels, quality, shelf life and replenishment needsEnsure that all records and documentation relating to the issuing and receiving of stock is maintainedStakeholder Relationship Management:Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goalsObtain, Challenge and Manage Inventory Demand and replenishmentAssist user departments to develop specificationsAssist Category Managers in reviewing and challenging user specificationsDevelop and Improve effective proceduresAssist team to develop clear individual development goals to close competence gapsConduct continuous performance reviewsBuild a culture of integrity, accountability and high performanceAre you a MATCH?Educational RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or equivalentRelevant certification (e.g. CPM) advisablePeople management and leadership experienceSolid commercial experienceStrong understanding of financials and numbersERP inventory managementEssentials Of BehavioursHigh level of Integrity and ethicsInnovative thinking and influencing leadershipAnticipating and dealing with changing environmentManaging personal efficiency and competing prioritiesPromoting and achieving safety-securityCommitted to Air Liquide's performance and responsibilitySolution-focused decision makingCaring about customersCommunicating with impactOther CompetenciesDemonstrates ethical behaviourPromotes safety first cultureRespect for confidentiality and visible integrityShapes business strategyBusiness acumenDrives accountability and high performanceFosters teamwork and collaborationRole models customer focusLeverages diversity and inclusionNurtures and coachesBuilds partnershipsDevelops self and othersOur Differences make our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.
