Inventory Accountant - Fmcg

RPO Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Inventory Accountant specializing in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels across multiple products.
This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work closely with various departments to ensure efficient stock management and reporting.
Responsibilities: Monitor and manage inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and reconciliations.
Analyze and report on inventory variances, identifying potential issues and providing solutions.
Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast inventory needs.
Maintain detailed records of stock levels, incoming shipments, and inventory write-offs.
Prepare regular inventory performance reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards related to inventory.
Assist in the development of inventory management policies and procedures.
Coordinate and execute stock takes and audits.
Train and guide junior staff in inventory accounting processes.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory accounting within the FMCG industry.
Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
