You will be joining a team of Industrial Organisational Psychologists who have developed entry-level psychometric assessments for the South African market that have been completed by more than 500,000 people.
You will be part of the improvement and further development of existing and new assessments as part of your internship.
This unstructured internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience while working alongside our experienced team of professionals who are committed to transform the way the world experiences entry-level employment.
As an intern, you will assist with various Organizational Development projects, employee assessments, and research initiatives.
You will be immersed in the practical application of industrial psychology principles, gaining insights into recruitment, selection processes, and talent management while contributing to meaningful projects.

What the program entails: The Industrial and Organisational Psychology internship is a 12 month program, with the aim to provide you with an in-depth understanding of the field of Industrial Psychology through the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
Tailored program: This is an unstructured program with the aim to upskill an Industrial Psychology Master student towards registering with the Health Professions Council South Africa (HPCSA) as an Industrial Psychologist (Independent Practice).
Paid, and accredited internship: The Industrial and Organisational Psychology internship is a 12-month paying programme, to be submitted for accreditation with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
The program includes six domains, which consists of: 1.
Organisational Psychology Assess and improve organisational climate and culture.
Conduct team assessments and facilitate team development interventions.
Design leadership competency frameworks.
Implement organisational change initiatives.
Align HR interventions with business strategy.

Human Resources (Personnel) Psychology Conduct job analyses, manage recruitment, and ensure legal compliance.
Develop and evaluate training programs.
Oversee performance management processes.
Improve employee relations and disciplinary practices.
3.
Career Psychology and Employee Wellbeing Provide career counselling and feedback from assessments.
Facilitate workplace counselling for employee wellbeing.
Develop retention strategies and employee wellbeing initiatives.
Support talent management efforts.
4.
Testing and Assessments Administer and interpret psychometric tests (e.g., CPP, 15FQ+).
Prepare psychometric reports and provide feedback.
Ensure psychometric tests meet professional standards.
5.
Elective (project) Engage in specialist research on organisational performance (deviant and counterproductive) in blue-collar workers Review literature on psychometric assessments to predict deviant behaviour in blue-collar workers within the South African context.
6.
Professional Ethics Identify and evaluate ethical issues.
Compile and present reports on ethical observations.
Requirements Strong academic performance in Honours (minimum 65% average) Industrial Psychology Masters M1 (Course work) Completed by January 2025 Must have had Psychometrics as part of Masters Course work and worked in R-studio Registered as a Student Psychologist with the HPCSA Able to work in a Hybrid model from January 2025 to December 2025.
