Job Summary: The International Procurement Coordinator is responsible for managing the procurement process for goods and services from international suppliers. The role involves vendor management, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining effective communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global supply chains, procurement practices, and import/export regulations. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate potential international suppliers. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure compliance with agreements. Sourcing & Negotiation: Source goods and services internationally while ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers. Develop strategies for procurement to maximize cost savings and optimize supply chain operations. Order Processing: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase order creation, approval, and tracking. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services from international suppliers. Handle any discrepancies, delays, or issues in the procurement process. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and shipping records. Handle import/export documentation and work with freight forwarders to manage shipments. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as logistics, finance, and operations to ensure smooth procurement processes. Collaborate with global teams to align procurement strategies with business goals. Provide regular updates to management on procurement status and supplier performance. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential risks. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost analyses. Monitor market trends and conduct research to support sourcing strategies. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in international procurement. Stay updated with industry trends, new suppliers, and emerging markets. Key Requirements: Education & Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in international procurement or supply chain management. Experience in global sourcing, vendor management, and negotiating international contracts. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of global supply chains, procurement processes, and international trade regulations. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make strategic decisions. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
