International Donor Request Coordinator (German)

The successful candidate will manage and coordinate the entire stem cell transplant process to ensure a positive outcome for both patient and donor.
Requirements: Fluent in German and EnglishIdeally a BSc Degree, but degrees in Social Sciences, Law, Project Management will also be considered.1 - 2 Years work experience, in a high pressure environment.Good understanding of IT/CRM systems, generally tech savvy and fully proficient in MS Office.Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.Excellent interpersonal skills.Own car and valid driver's license.Duties / Responsibilities: Support the medical teams, managing the coordination of bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cell donations between identified stem cell donors and stem cell collection centres nationally and internationallyCarry out information sessions with identified donors as a means of ensuring they are fully and properly prepared for the stem cell donation and collection.Evaluate donors for medical and non-medical factors affecting suitability and eligibility using guidelines set by DKMS and national regulations, including referring for further medical assessments where required.Schedule and manage donor medical assessments, working closely with the patient's team and medical advisors to facilitate donor medical clearance.Responsible for communicating with national and international stem cell coordinators to complete the required documentation within designated timelines.Work with internal databases to record and document accurate donor case notes.Communicate and liaise closely with specialist courier companies to schedule national and international transport of stem cell products.NOTE - We ONLY accept online applications.
