Internal Vacancy Main Objective

To maintain Vuma Cam poles on the Vumatel, DFA, Rise Telecoms, and Britelink networks. Confirming the fibre, and power. Maintaining the cameras, switches, and all associated equipment to keep the poles always live.

Main Responsibilities Maintain Vuma Cam poles

• Test power meter readings on Fibre and capture FSAN of ONT.

• Confirm the following is present in the dome: Switch, connected ethernet cable to switch, are all cables secure, is the ONT live, all equipment switched on and live with power.

• Confirm if it is a Solar or Grid pole.

Capture job cards

• Each pole needs to have a job card, and all required checks need to be captured and submitted to device magic

Qualifications:

• Matric or equivalent qualification

• Certificate or Diploma in Fibre Network operations preferred

• +2 Years as a Maintenance Tech preferred
