A position is available for an Internal Sales Representative, with opportunity for growth into an external Sale Role. The primary focus of this position is to maintain strong relationships with existing customers, with recurring business accounting for 90% of your targets. Additionally, the role will require the development of new business opportunities, accounting for 10% of the overall sales targets. Key Competencies : Product Knowledge - A thorough understanding of different types of steel and their applications, as well as an understanding of the production process and quality standards. Customer service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a professional and friendly demeanor, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Sales skills: Strong negotiation skills, the ability to identify customer needs and offer solutions, and the ability to close sales deals. Market knowledge: A deep understanding of the steel industry, including market trends, competition, and customer preferences. Problem-solving: The ability to quickly identify and resolve customer issues and concerns, and to find creative solutions to complex problems. Time management: The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, while managing multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously. Organization: Excellent organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records. Adaptability: The ability to work well under pressure, to adapt to changing customer needs and market conditions, and to handle complex and challenging situations effectively.
