About the roleReporting to the Internal Sales Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the optimum handling of front-counter sales as well as stock control. The correct handling of stock, invoicing as well as payments for goods received is crucial in this role.
Serve customers by phone and at the front counter in a friendly and polite mannerHandle inquiries as and when requiredProduce invoices and expedite ordersHandle payments for goods sold which include cash and credit cardsHandle the different copies of invoices and required administrationDo cash up at the end of the dayComplete all product training in order to promote all core productsAll designated customers must be contacted daily and call sheets must be handed in weekly.Open RMA's for Warranty stock returned.Ensure that all backorders are communicated to clients, and account managers as well as giving the client the feedback on availability (ETA)Power BI to be adhered toSpecials to be displayed and promoted on the front counterAccurate receiving of stock from internal and external suppliersAbout youNational Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a trade counter / front counter sales positionSales or Telesales experience is requiredExperienced in the handling of customers (Customer collaboration)Computer literate (Knowledge of Syspro or related packages and Basic PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel skills)Language - English fluency in speech and literacyKnowledge of the Pool & Spa & Irrigation industryThe ability to cope with a diversity of tasks in a high pressure environment.Excellent communicator with a strong sense for urgencyHigh achievement orientationConcern for order, quality, and accuracyHigh customer service orientationExcellent telephone skillsTeam playerMust have own reliable carFluidra is a workplace where everyone can develop.
