Job Description Our client provides packaging solutions to the retail, hospitality and FMCG markets in South Africa.
We are on the hunt for a Career Internal Salesperson to join their dynamic and fast growing sales team in Johannesburg - Randburg region.
Purpose of Job: To drive sales and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Efforts directly contribute to the overall success of the business development and client acquisition strategies.
Responsible for generating leads, managing client interactions, processing orders and invoices, promoting products and resolving client issues.
Roles and Responsibilities: Client Interaction - Make calls to new and existing clients to place orders and follow up on their requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.
Handle client calls, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Order Management - Accurately record and process client orders in the system.
Ensure all orders are processed in a timely manner and confirm order details with clients.
Coordinate with the warehouse team issues, special deliveries etc.
Account Management - Generate and process invoices promptly, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Ensure invoices are printed the same day.
P erform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, accepting payments, processing, posting, and recording debtors account data.
Promotions and Sales - Inform clients about special offers, discounts, and new products.
Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
Lead Generation - Generate leads and feed them to Business Development Consultants for further action.
Support client acquisition efforts by identifying and nurturing potential opportunities.
Product Knowledge - Develop a deep understanding of product categories, suggest alternatives, inform customers of shortages, continuously improve knowledge, and seek assistance for training when needed.
Client Issue Resolution - Address and resolve any client complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
Liaise with internal departments to facilitate quick and effective solutions to client problems.
Maintain detailed records of client interactions and issues for future reference.
Feedback, Reporting & Administrative Duties - Act as the primary interface between the customers, and internal operations teams.
Ensure fluid communication and coordination to support project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Compliance - Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance in all aspects of the role to maintain integrity and uphold organizational standards.
Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
A degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Proven track record of success in sales.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the packaging or related industry.
Skills: Computer l iterate.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits R15 000 - R18 000 Basic Salary.
Commission/incentive offered Hours : Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 and Friday 8:00 - 15:00 #LI-KT1 Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
