We are seeking an Internal Sales Administrator to join our team.
As an Internal Sales Administrator, you'll be required to service and support existing customers in order to meet or exceed monthly sales targets while increasing customer satisfaction.
In addition, the Internal Salesperson will work cooperatively with other sales staff and other members of the team to grow the existing customer base as well as to provide support to the Technical/Operations Manager and External Sales personnel in order to ensure timeous and steady growth of sales and client retention with the intentions to expand the sales team.
What you'll do: Retain and acquire business through exceptional service delivery and relationship building Build strong client relationships by responding to their questions efficiently and courteouslyDevelop a clear understanding of client's needs and requirementsIdentify, coordinate and implement services to extend the accountGenerate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely mannerDetermine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutionsRecommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specificationsPresent quote in accordance with client's standard procedures and customers' expectations as well as within the client's profitability profilesAccurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returnsProvide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items and stock availability from suppliersSupply accurate information to the customer relating to shipment dates and expected date of deliveryProactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitabilityProvide a high level of customer service to ensure clients complete satisfactionIncrease sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling and add-on salesSource new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups and outbound cold calls and emailsEducate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfactionMonitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed as well as update customers – send ETA Backlog ReportsContact customers following sales/quotes to ensure on going customer satisfactionArrange demo equipment or samples for customersRemain current on consumer preferences, and product developments by attending sales meetings, vendor training and trade shows, reading trade magazines or doing online webinars/trainingSetup Project customer files when order is received from customersIdentify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction and provide feedback to the teamEfficient communication with the team regarding quotes and customer updatesMaintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal, and other common office equipment and softwareFollow company policies and procedures which include limited use of cell phones for non-related work activities i.e.
