The applicants must have energetic & flexible dispositions and have the ability to work under pressure.LOCATION LOCATION Cape Town QUALIFICATIONA relevant tertiary qualification and / or a relevant qualification in concrete technology will be an advantageEXPERIENCESound computer literacy is an essential requirement.Experience in customer liaison and sales / administration or an orders and scheduling environmentSKILLS SKILLS Applicants must have the following:Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.Sound interpersonal skills and organizational abilitySound written and verbal communication skills (English)Sound computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word) OTHER OTHER Applicants must have own, reliable transport and may be required to work extended /irregular hours MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS The incumbent will be required to perform various tasks inherent to the position, as detailed in the relevant job description, such as:Pricing of products offered by the company to customers.Accurately preparing sales quotes for customersPricing of tenders with assistance from technical staff, where required.Taking of orders for concrete and pumps and scheduling thereof on computer for on-time deliveryAdministering payment from cash customers prior to delivery of productCorrect allocation of zones for accurate payment of transportersEnsuring all orders are available daily in advance for loading at the Concrete Batch PlantsEnsuring correct utilization of truck mixers through optimal scheduling of ordersLiaising with customers, suppliers, and Concrete Batch Plant OperatorsAddressing and resolving customer queries and problemsSales administration: following up on quotes and tenders daily with both sales staff and customers / general marketplace.Placing of cement orders for Concrete Batch Plant and communicating delivery times to plant staff DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: Monay 15 JUNE 2023
