Job Purpose To manage the Internal Control Verification service in relation to Supply Chain Management to ensure that the Municipality has transparent systems of financial management and internal control and that payments are made timeously.

Key Responsibility Areas Manages the activities of the Internal Control Section (Supply Chain Management).
Formulates an Internal Control Plan and Programme for Supply Chain Management.
Evaluating and reviewing internal controls for Supply Chain Management.
Plans, co-ordinates and manages ad hoc projects.
Communicates and reports on internal control findings.
Prepares detailed management reports.
Directs and controls the compilation of procedure manuals.
Performance and personnel management.

Tertiary qualification (NQF Level) in Supply Chain Management.
Must be in possession of National Treasury MFMA minimum competency qualification (NQF6) or Must obtain a National Treasury MFMA minimum qualification (NQF6) within 18 months of date of appointment.
5 Years relevant experience of which 2 years must be a supervisory level.
Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements Post graduate qualification (NQF Level 8) in Supply Chain Management.
6 Years relevant experience of which 3 years must be at a supervisory level.
