JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and supporting the external sales team to achieve sales targets. MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO): Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner. Process sales orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system. Collaborate with the external sales team to identify and pursue new sales opportunities. Provide product information and support to customers. Prepare and follow up on sales quotations. Monitor and report on sales performance metrics. Assist in resolving customer complaints and issues. Participate in sales meetings and training sessions. JOB/EDUCATIONAL/QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent Degree/Diploma/Certificate would be advantageous Proven experience in a sales or customer service role. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Experience: Strong command of the English language, with the ability to speak Afrikaans 2 years of sales experience Computer Literacy - MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Outlook Proven ability to handle multiple requests and prioritizing in order to meet deadlines Knowledge of Kerridge advantageous Customer service experience Experience working in a team environment to meet goals Skills & Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills Good Computer Skills (MS Office Suite - Word, STRONG Excel skills, PowerPoint) Excellent time management skills Excellent administration skills Strong problem solving abilities Ability to work under pressure High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
