Role PurposeThe Internal Business Consultant (iBC) crafts and sustains meaningful partnerships that have not traditionally supported us. Using innovative engagement techniques like product, market, and sales intelligence will set them apart from their counterparts, thereby assisting to grow the pool of advisors in the business and achieve the MDS sales target and grow the Momentum Footprint.RequirementsQualifications:NQF Level 7 Degree in business management, legal, marketing, investments, or finance.Experience:1 - 3 years' relevant sales experience in the financial services industry.2 - 5 years' financial services industry experience.Momentum experience is preferred.Knowledge:Strong business acumen, sound knowledge of the financial services industry and insurance products with an ease of making decisions and initiating action.Duties and ResponsibilitiesInternal Processes:Understand and apply the MDS segmentation approach to the unclaimed Area's specific IFA lists.Make contact with unclaimed IFA's via the different digital platforms to encourage business.Close broker codes where no further relationship can be continued, facilitating any needed system interactions.Apply a segmented approach to build relationships with the remaining IFA's on the list.Coordinate the transition of the IFA relationship to a Business Consultant when the IFA production warrants a face-to-face relationship.Client:Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.Manage and deliver on client expectations.Involve Business Development Managers of the different product houses on the IFA panel by arranging training and other product-related sessions via digital platforms.People:Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders.Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry, and legislation knowledge savings and investment markets in SA.As an applicant, please verify the legitimacy of this job advert on our company career page.
