Description of the roleResponsible for the facilitation, administration, and implementation, working in partnership with the Mortgage Origination Banker and being pro-actively involved in acquiring new target market clients, cross selling our client value proposition and vanilla credit proposals, all underpinned by service excellence to clients & Mortgage Originators at all touch points. A dynamic self-starter, calm under pressure, and not afraid to take initiative.Predominantly working in MO, with some focus on assisting other Bankers in the KZN Region.Description of key responsibilities:Effective and timeous resolution of client / MO queries telephonically or via emailProviding sufficient support and education regarding products, processes and system changesManage client & MO expectations and provide feedback accordinglyLiaising with support areas and product houses to meet clients' needs or required transactionsEstablish and maintain relationship with internal stakeholders & Mortgage OriginatorsIdentify opportunities to fully bank the clients and cross sell product offering, look for opportunities for the client across Investec Group, enable and connect client to different opportunities within the group.Deliver service towards achieving targets / budgetsEducating clients regarding support services available and on-line toolsMaintain Deal stream in partnership with MO BankersFollow up on CRM leads, feedback and update on leadsImplement and drive MO strategy across banking business – feedback to banking forumsManage processes and expectations with internal stakeholders (valuations / Legal / attorneys / credit)Drive acquisition along with lending take upAttend & present at MO roadshows and MO national forums etc.Deal facilitation:Facilitation of deals for high volume and high value credit for vanilla transactionsFacilitation and processing of all deals including (but not limited to):Building bondsResidential properties and Vacant landsCommercial propsSecured loansUnsecured loanNon-vanilla type dealsManaging the conveyance pipelineManaging payouts of clients lending transactionsClient administration:Management of client data on radar & CRMSupporting MO Bankers by assisting with client / MO needs and administrationDrafting of documentation for clientsManagement of systems (Finance, Card400, lotus, frontline, CRM etc)Risk Management:Identify all basic risk issuesDemonstrate in depth understanding of the relevance of documentation requiredProactively adapt to changes in Risk ManagementStaying abreast of system and process changes (workflow)Investec CultureAt Investec we look for dynamic, energetic people filled with tenacity, integrity and out of the ordinary thinking.We value individuals who in turn value our that is, a can-do attitude while challenging convention.Diversity, competency, and flexible leadership are respected in pursuit of the growth of our business.We are committed to diversity and inclusion when recruiting internally and externally.
