Internal Audit Analyst

A leading financial services company close to Somerset West area, Western Cape, is seeking an Internal Audit Analyst to ensure system and process integrity.
This role is critical in supporting the growing operations across Africa. You will be an integral part of the internal audit team, focusing on data integrity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on innovation and growth. Success in this role means effectively identifying and addressing areas of concern or fraud and providing actionable insights to management.
Key qualifications for the Internal Audit Analyst:Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Honours in a relevant fieldProfessional certifications such as CIA or CISA (advantageous)4 - 6 years of experience in a similar roleWillingness and ability to travel across AfricaKey duties for the Internal Audit Analyst include but are not limited to:Assisting in the planning and execution of internal audit engagements, including risk assessment and audit testingConducting full population testing of credit policies and revenue models to ensure system accuracyProviding recommendations for the selection and implementation of audit analyticsPerforming data analysis to identify anomalies, trends, and patterns, and communicating findings to managementTesting accounting entries and identifying control weaknessesKey personal skills for the successful Internal Audit Analyst:Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precisionExcellent communication and analytical skillsStrong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesPassion for Africa and a willingness to work in a developing world contextIf you are passionate about internal audit, and have strong experience in systems and process integrity, please get in touch to learn more.
