Position Overview: Our client is seeking a talented Software Engineer with proven experience in developing applications for the capital markets or treasury domain.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the complex requirements of our client's financial software products.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements for capital markets or treasury applications.Design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions using modern technologies and best practices.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software meets specifications and quality standards.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, business analysts, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality software solutions.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software development within the capital markets or treasury space.Support and maintain existing software applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes as needed.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Software Engineer developing applications for capital markets or treasury sectors.Strong proficiency in Java programming Experience with software development methodologies and best practices.Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data structures.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of financial instruments, trading platforms, and capital markets workflows.Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial industry.What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work with a leading company in the capital markets software industry.Professional development and career growth opportunities.A collaborative and innovative work environment.
