Intermediate Product Designer

Business Segment: Personal & Private BankingLocation: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30The Digital Platforms design team at Standard Bank is looking for an intermediate Product Designer to join us. We're a small, talented team of experienced designers, writers, and researchers tasked with providing core platform services to the Bank's various business units. The role is specifically within the Partnerships Acceleration team which focuses on opening up our banking ecosystem to bring more financial value and opportunities to our customers.The successful candidate will be required to:Action changes to products in line with Business Lines specifications so that the product may serve the business needs more effectively.Understand the requirements of UX and UI that contribute to intuitive and seamless product functionality, and contribute to a flexible and fluid product design that will enhance how end users interact with the product, currently and in the future.Build and iterate high-quality designs, drawing feedback from iterative analysis and user testing to create the ideal user experience within specified guidelines and deadlines. Keep in mind the scalability of the product to meet future business, customer, and product requirements.Develop design solutions as part of a wider team through a solid understanding of device and ecosystem platforms to assure good customer experience by utilizing various design and research methods to understand customer needs, friction points, and decision-making processes.Requirements:3-5 years demonstrated UX/UI Product Designer experienceMinimum Qualifications:A tertiary degree in Information Studies
