The core focus of this role is the production of mechanical layouts, models, and drawings in accordance with project requirements. The Intermediate Mechanical Designer is also required to apply experience and specialized/advanced engineering principles at a conceptual level.
Other responsibilities include: 3D equipment modeling and 3D design to meet company quality standardsPerforming conceptual layout workChecking of drawings prior to releaseCoordinating with other disciplinesAnnotation of 2D drawings extracted from the 3D modelApplying the mechanical and layout design criteria throughout the evolution of the design and the use of vendor data, drawings, and information to develop and verify the modelYou bring to the role: 5+ years' experience in mechanical designProficient modeling skills in a 3D environmentWorking knowledge of industry or regulatory standards, regulations, and codes pertinent to the design and systems related to the projectAdvanced diploma of engineering or equivalent (Mechanical preferred)Preferred knowledge of Bentley 3D design software tools, copper concentration, or flotation experienceCollaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutionsDon't meet every single requirement?
