Job DescriptionAn intermediate Java Developer position is available in theHealthcare sector for one of SA's best performing company's, often voted thebest place to work. You would be working within a team tasked to work ondynamic new projects and product enhancements in order to improve businessinefficiencies, gain competitive advantage on with their products andultimately to provide better service to their clients. Using knowledge of the organization's technologyinfrastructure and specific software applications, the intermediate Javadeveloper will help the business to address changes through technologies. Key Purpose: You would support the projects throughout the projectlifecycle, including requirements, design, implementation, release and postrelease support. Maintain the deployed applications on dev, test andproduction environments be familiar witrh the system development tools, processesand workflows be art of the team in distinguishing between business,functional and non-functional requirements and how to implement them Delivery of high quality source code and the technologiesused and the systems components structure Develop, test, and maintain the deployed applicationsoftware with high quality Analyse, maintain and enhance existing application andtroubleshoot issues with efficiency RequirementsSoftware release management

Education and Experience • BSc Computer Science or equivalent 3-year IT qualification
• 3+ source code Java (version 8) development experience(support and maintenance)
• Deep understanding of the SpringBoot Framework, Hibernate
• Maven, ANT build scripts
• Java Batch Scheduling (Flux, Quartz) experience
• Knowledge with Business Rules Management Frameworks andcontinuous integration
• Experience with DevOps (Atlassian Suite) and Linux (L5,LVS, Apache)
• Experience with containerization virtual systems(Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker)
• Exposure to an agile methodology driven environment
• Experience in the delivery and deployment of projectswithin the SDLC within a high pressure complex environment
