Intermediate It Product Owner (Back Office And Development Management)

We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven Product Owner to oversee the development and delivery of our back-office products, ensuring that the team is aligned and accountable for timelines and priorities.
The ideal candidate will have strong product ownership skills, with an understanding of the product lifecycle and development process.
This role requires an individual who can drive product specifications, work closely with the development team, and ensure that products are delivered as per requirements and deadlines Tasks Key Responsibilities: Product Ownership & Development: Own the entire product lifecycle for back-office products, front, consumer facing products, including specification, wireframing, and user experience design.
Scope out new product features and enhancements, providing clear briefs and wireframes for development.
Act as the primary contact for understanding product requirements and translating them into actionable tasks for the development team.
Backlog Management: Own the product backlog, prioritize features based on business goals, and collaborate with directors to ensure alignment with company priorities.
Ensure the development team has a clear understanding of tasks and timelines.
Development Oversight & Accountability: Work with the development team to ensure that tasks are being completed on time and according to the agreed-upon scope.
Hold weekly prioritization meetings with directors to ensure alignment on deliverables and project timelines.
Facilitate communication between the development team and directors to ensure all stakeholders are informed of progress and any changes to priorities.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with the development team to assess timelines for each feature and hold them accountable for delivery deadlines.
Manage multiple ongoing projects and ensure visibility into the status of all initiatives.
Assist in identifying potential bottlenecks and work to resolve issues that may delay product delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Interface with key stakeholders, including directors, merchants, and other departments, to gather requirements and manage expectations.
Support the team in adjusting project priorities based on business needs and stakeholder feedback.
Requirements Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, with a strong focus on product development and back-office systems.
Experience managing product backlogs and working with development teams.
Strong understanding of user interface and user experience principles.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure clear and concise requirements.
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment with limited resources.
Familiarity with Trello or similar project management tools.
Nice to Have: Experience in small to medium-sized companies (not corporate-level implementations).
Familiarity with product management methodologies or agile frameworks (not necessarily required).
