Minimum Requirements:

4-8 years of experience
CompSci or CompEng degree from:

UCT
Stellenbosch (Stel)
Wits
UP

OR experience at a top-end employer/consultancy
Recent experience in architecture and technical leadership of projects within specified industries
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills for identifying and troubleshooting system and integration challenges
Experience with AWS:

Basic networking
Serverless or containerized applications


Responsibilities:

3 or more years of software engineering experience with commercially successful systems in:

Fintech
Payments
Banking
Messaging
Credit
E-commerce
Logistics

Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation)
Proficiency in programming languages:

Python
Java
JavaScript
TypeScript
