They will be responsible for giving technical guidance into quote calculations and for the maintenance and upgrading of pricing models.Resolving queries relating to corporate annuity quotations.Pricing for non-standard annuity benefits.Maintaining and upgrading pricing models, including updating documentation.Authorising corporate annuity quotations up to a specified size.Providing cash flows required for hedging new annuity deals.There is scope to manage staff involved in carrying out annuity quotes.Provide support for Retail annuity pricing.Customer and stakeholder engagement.Product development.Qualifications, Experience & AttributesActuarial student making good progress with examination.Thorough with good attention to detail.Collaborates and communicates effectively.Self-motivated, works independently.Process improvement and documentation.Knowledge and experience of annuities will be an advantage.Knowledge or an interest in learning Visual Basic for Excel.Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).EducationBachelor of Science (BSc): Actuarial Science (Required)Closing Date14 September 2024The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit in question.
