Our staff are motivated, dedicated and doing work that really matters.NAAJA INDIGENOUS PRISONER THROUGHCARE are seeking an INTENSIVE CASE MANAGER – PAROLE to join our team. The position will be based in Alice Springs.NAAJA Indigenous Prisoner Throughcare aims to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait people reintegrate to the community following their release from prison. This is accomplished through strengths-based pre-and post-release intensive case management.The Intensive Case Manager – Parole will work specifically with Indigenous people in prison with non-parole periods to re-apply for parole by assisting them to develop post release plans that will support an intention to complete parole successfully and avoid reoffending.The successful applicant will have knowledge of Parole, the criminal justice system, and the social/systemic issues faced by Aboriginal people. They will demonstrated the ability to apply that knowledge and lead high quality individual case management, work effectively with a range of stakeholders and develop professional and meaningful relationships with Aboriginal people and their families, to advocate for their clients, and prepare formal reports and submissions. A degree in social work and evidence of eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW) or an equivalent qualification and membership is highly desirable.This position offers attractive employment benefits including:Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, 8:00 – 4:30 Monday to FridaySalary/Wages: PSO 5.2 $93,669 to 30 June 2025Salary packaging options6 weeks annual leave per year with leave loadingAboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are encouraged to apply.
